If you do move or delete it, Adobe Premiere Elements will prompt you to find it. You can locate it or work with it as an offline file.(See <a href="1_5_13_0.html">Using offline files</a>.)</p><p class="paragraph">By default, Adobe Premiere Elements scales still images to fit the project frame size. This means that if you created an image that is larger than your project frame size, when you add it to your project, Adobe Premiere Elements will reduce its size so that it fits within the frame of your project. You can override this behavior and instead have Adobe Premiere Elements add your files at the size at which they were created. You can also set the default duration for all still images that you add. (See <a href="1_5_7_5.html">Changing the duration of a still image</a>.)</p><p class="tip"><img src="images/tip.gif" alt="Tip" height="20" width="20" /> You can also add animations, which usually are saved as a sequence of numbered still image files. For more information, see <a href="1_5_7_4.html">Adding an animation or still-image sequence</a>.</p></ol><p class="headstep">To add one or more files into the Media window:</p><ol><p class="paragraph">Do one of the following:</p><ul><li class="bullet" type="disc">To add one or more files, click the Add Media button in the task bar. Locate and select the file or files that you want to add, and then click Open. To add an entire folder or folders, select the items that you want to add and click Add Folder.</li><li class="bullet" type="disc">To add a file that was recently added into Adobe Premiere Elements, choose it from the File > Add Recent File submenu.
